Well, our little Luke is here! He surprised us all and came a week early. The timing was great because my Mom came on Tuesday, and I went into labor in Wednesday. We arrived at the hospital around 3pm, and he was born at 6:17pm. Everything went well - it feels so GREAT to not be pregnant anymore!
He's a good little baby. Today he is 10 days old and he's getting the hang of how to be a baby. . . eat, sleep, poop. He's very good at all of them. Alma and Lili love to hold him, and they are great helpers. MaryAlice is adjusting better than I thought she would. She will acknowledge him, pat him on the head, and go on her way.
His middle name is Kamauoha. (Kam-a-whoa-ha) It is from Lamoni's geneology. It's the surname of his Great-Great Grandpa from Hawaii. A great family name, some people still recognize it in Hawaii.
Luke is such a blessing to us. He is a special spirit and I can't wait to watch him grow!
Alma is such a proud big brother.
