Hey all, sorry it's been a while. I just thought I'd do a little update on what's been happening. As of today, I am officially 38 weeks pregnant! 2 more weeks to go. Holy crow I'm so ready to be done - I cannot wait to sleep on my stomache, shave my legs without falling over and wear shoes that tie. Oh, and the heartburn is really starting to wear out it's stay!
Lamoni just spent a week in Utah. He's coming home tomorrow ! Yea! Sad he missed his birthday, but he wanted to wrap up some mini-storage stuff before baby comes. I sure do miss him when he's gone. he's such a help with the kids!
We are down to one dog. Two puppies was getting a little stressfull for me, so Pearl (Lamoni's mom) offered to puppy-sit Cowboy for as long as we needed. We'll it's been a few weeks and I found it almost immediatly less stressfull, and Pearl has fallen in love with Cowboy. We're still playing with the idea if Pearl wants to keep him, or we will sell him. I feel bad - because he's such a good dog. It's not like he was a terror - he was a really good dog, but I just had a hard time with two of them. We really want him to go to a good home, so we'll see what happens. Last Tuesday I took Jessie to get spayed. She just turned 6 months old and I wanted to get her fixed before the baby comes. (And before she has her first "bleed") She did really well. It's been about 10 days and she looks and feels great. Oh, and she is sporting a trendy tattoo! Yep, that's right, my dog has a tattoo! The vet office offeres it free when you spay your dog, because sometimes the scar can fade when the dog gets older, and if she gets lost and someone finds her and wants to spay her - the vet will know from her tattoo that she's already been spayed. It's on her inner-thigh. Nothing special, just a circle of dots. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
I'm on a mission to get Lamoni to cut his hair. He usually has a cycle for his hair-do's. He grows it semi-long, then bleaches it, then after a while, he buzzes it. And the cycle starts all over. Well, if you haven't seen him lately, it's probably the longest he's ever grown it. It's not that bad, I just wish it had some "shape" to it. John teases him that he looks like a "Mountain Man". Knowing my husband is the type who hates to be told what to do, and if you try, he'll do the complete opposite just because. He can't stand it - that's just how he is. I have learned this, and am usually pretty careful of what I say to him, but I let it slip last week that I thought it was time for a haircut. Well, as you can guess, now he wants to grow it out even longer into a ponytail. I really need to get some pictures posted of him, I'll try to do that this next week. I do have to say, he is still a very handsome man! I might stoop as low as to say, "if this baby is a boy, and you want to name him Woodruff, then the hair has got to go!"

Lamoni Riordan, be careful, someone before you, grew long hair and desired for even longer hair only to wake up a few short years later to much less hair than whence said person had when this person returned home from a mission with a missionary haircut!
Cami,
I am totally with you on the 2 dog deal! I'm glad Pearl is enjoying Cowboy:)
ok so I really like Adicus. I don't know why, but it fits your family. So does kolina, well at least it is better than Sparklers :)!
