So, being the scrapbooker that I am, I have already planned out a page on the "things I miss about Oregon." So, while I was in Grants Pass today I took my camera and took lots of pictures of things that I will miss. Here are just a few. . .
Jimmy's Drive-in = one of those hometown burger joints with the super thick shakes! Yummy!
Club Northwest, where we attempted Yoga, and the kids enjoyed "Kidzone"
6th and 7th, streets = the two main streets in Grants Pass, they are both "One way" streets - When I moved here, I thought it was dumb to have one-way streets, and after 6 years of living here, I still think it's a dumb idea - very inconvenient when you miss your turn!
Ken and Pearl's house - going for "Grandma-day" once a week when all the cousins can get together and play, while us Mom's can get some shopping done (without kids!)
Downtown Grants Pass - with it's famous "It's the Climate" sign.
Tis the season for Duck Derby! Local businesses sell rubber ducks, and there is a race in the Rogue river. The person with the fastest duck won a new car! I never bought a duck, but cheered on the winners with the fastest ducks.
The hospital where all 3 of my kids were born.
My favorite scrapbook store! Of course, they all know me by name - I probably pay their light bill with my monthly purchases!
I know we will miss our days in Oregon, but I know fun and excitement is waiting for us in Utah. Alma is starting Kindergarten for one thing!! Aah!

Oh you did not say the truth! You will truly miss the Ocean! I know you were not going to say it cause it will make you cry! I guess you can get a pool and a sand box it will give you that beachy feel!! And just think your heading in the right direction to surf the warm balmy Atlantic ocean!!! I hope that your move goes very smoothly. We will keep you in our prayers.
Im sorry you have to move here, If you think you hate Wal Mart now just wait... I would say some nice things about Vernal but after looking at those pictures of Grants Pass... I JUST CAN'T!
CAMI- I knew you were coming to VISIT St. George this month, but you never said anything about MOVING!! I thought that was still a year or so away. I know you're not moving here (although it would be a LOT more fun if you were), but I'm excited you'll be closer. I know, selfish thought. I can visit you now!!!! Yeah! Good luck with the move! You were smarter than me, I should have taken pics all all those things as well! I still miss GP, but we are find fun and new adventures here and I know you will in Vernal too!
